Update to yesterday's email.....
The storm is developing more slowly in our area. We are planning to begin open-ups early in the morning for the first time, starting around 2 am. We will continue to cycle through with more open-ups until the wind and snow are done, and then we will start full-width plowing of roads we care for and driveways. Shoveling is going to be slow and methodical. We expect that if we get 12-inch totals and high winds, some neighborhoods will take 24 to 36 hours to get walks and aprons done. We are not planning on even starting city sidewalks until the city plow comes to even start on the through the first time. Still planning on it taking us a lot longer than usual due to high winds and deep snow. We will continue to keep you updated as we progress through the mid morning on Sunday. Mailboxes and fire hydrants will be very last. Our priority is getting people back out and moving before the detail items get addressed. Trust that we will take care of all of it by mid week and please be patient with our people. They will be doing their absolute best and understand frustration with having to wait. Have a great night.
