Good Morning and Happy April,
We are currently tracking this event as most likely non-plowable but super icy and unsafe, especially by Thursday morning. I suggest you all stock up on some ice melter, and if your neighborhoods have salt barrels, maybe you can get yourself some. Currently, we are not seeing enough to plow this event, but if that changes, we will pivot, plow, and send out an update. My suggestion is that you stay safe and inside tonight until midday tomorrow. If you have any questions, please contact your property manager if anything comes up.
For your safety, please do not approach trucks, loaders, tractors, or any equipment while crews are working. Operators often cannot see you, especially in low visibility conditions. If you have something to tell us, we suggest using the communication system your property manager has set up. Know that sometimes our drivers miss a driveway here and there and we are human. We will do our best not to miss any and occasionally get turned around while doing repetitive tasks. We will be responsive if this happens.
If a car is left in the driveway and cannot be moved, that driveway will be skipped. Snow Patrol will be out in the days following the event to take care of missed driveways, sidewalks, fire hydrants, and mailboxes.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep both residents and the community safe. We appreciate your patience and understanding during winter weather. For newer neighborhoods for us also always understand there is a learning curve that takes place.
