Good Morning to all,

We want to inform everyone about a new way we're sharing this message. We're now posting it in a blog style on our website, so you can check there for updates. Since communication over the weekend can be challenging, we want our end customers to have this information as soon as we post it. This will be the new source for this information, so you won't have to wait for an email.

Well, with the snow ending sometime early this morning, we are back at it, completing final cleanup on driveways and shoveling out those we didn't touch yet yesterday. Today, drifting is going to be a big issue. Our goal is to get everyone cleaned up today, and drifting after we have already plowed will have to be dealt with tomorrow and Wednesday based on feedback to property managers.

The roads are extremely icy across our service area, so drive times and our equipment's effectiveness are not as quick as with a normal snowfall. We will be getting everyone plowed out today. Our crews started early this morning after getting some rest and will continue working until the job is done. We are also dealing with some equipment issues in the Big Lake and Elk River areas that are slowing us down.

Many people shoveled aprons and front walks yesterday, and those who didn't will do so today. We will restart our shovel routes after completing our first pass. Our goal is to ensure everyone is checked twice if needed within the next 24 to 36 hours.

Mailboxes are going to be a challange and we will get them clear.  Cities are pushing snow against them as fast as we clear them.  Our goal is to have all crews check the mailboxes by noon tomorrow, or sooner if possible. We might clean them, but the city could negate our work an hour later, so please be patient. We understand that mail won't be delivered if the mailboxes aren't cleared.  We may clean them and then the city negates our work an hour later so be patient.  We understand the mail won't come if they are not done.

Lastly, city sidewalks will take the next two to three days to clear as the city pushes snow on them and it drifts. While we try to finish them quickly during a storm like this, we can only go so fast.

Have a great Monday and if you can stay inside where it is warm and much safer.
