Meet the Staff
John Lane
Owner
In 2004 co-founded Speedcutters Outdoor Maintenance, LLC. John graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Economics. After spending 13 years in retail management, he devoted his full attention to growing SpeedCutters into the service provider that our customers appreciate today. John has volunteered in youth football and as a baseball coach, lead his son's youth group at church and, together with his wife of 25 years, hosts Bible study groups in their home.
Noah Langlais
Head of Tree Division, ISA Certified Arborist MN-4978A, DNR Certified Tree Inspector
In 2016 he started at the company, working in the field of arboriculture and landscape management and has been head of the arboriculture division since 2019. Noah went to Hennepin Technical College in 2019 where he obtained a certificate of work in the field of arboriculture and later became a DNR certified tree inspector and in 2023 became an ISA Certified Arborist MN-4978A. He spends time away from work playing golf and volunteering at a local church.
Tom Langlais
Owner
In 2004 Tom co-founded Speedcutters Outdoor Maintenance, LLC. Tom graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Business Management. Tom spent 12 years in retail big box management before leaving that and joining the ranks of a local privately held company. Tom has used his years of managerial experience to grow Speedcutters into a strong competitor in the Twin Cities. When not working Tom enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, and being a part of his local church.
JT Langlais
Operations Manager/ Marketing Coordinator
JT started with the company Part-Time in 2013 working in different divisions and departments, until settling in the Lawn Care division as a Crew Leader in 2017 while home for the summer from college. In 2019 JT transferred schools and began working full-time with the company as the head of the Lawn Care crews. He graduated with a BS in Marketing from University of Minnesota-Crookston in 2021. He now runs the day to day operations of both the lawn and snow divisions and coordinates and creates all marketing content. Outside of work JT loves to golf, bowl, and spend time with friends and family
